The 3-Checkpoint Validation Plan
aka "The Bullshit Police"
You have an idea. You think people want to buy it. That's nice. Now answer one question: Is your idea bullshit?
Don't build a website. Don't print business cards. Don't hire a guru. A business only happens when you exchange something for money.
Checkpoint One: The Interest Test
The $50 Ad Test. Show your Offer to 2,000 real strangers. A simple post. A headline. A "coming soon" image. Ask for a tiny commitment: "Sign up for the waitlist."
If no one cares — you don't have a Traffic problem. You have an Offer problem. Do not proceed until strangers show interest.
Checkpoint Two: The Sales Test
Talk to people. Get interested people on a call. Ask what they're struggling with. Listen. Offer your solution. Explain the price. Ask for the sale.
If you can't get one person to buy, you don't have a business. You have a hobby.
Checkpoint Three: The Math Test
Do the maths. What does it cost to get one customer (CAC)? What does one customer pay you over time (LTV)? Is LTV meaningfully higher than CAC?
LTV:CAC of 3:1 = viable business. Below that: reduce acquisition cost, increase price, or increase retention.
After Validation
Once you pass all three: you have a validated Traffic + Offer equation. Now invest with confidence.
